CPS All-City Dance Ensemble Extended Auditions

The CPS All-City Dance Ensemble started class/rehearsal on Oct. 24, 2009 at the Gallery 37 Center for the Arts in the Dance Studio. Dance students interested in joining the FREE dance program may audition on Oct. 24, Oct. 31 and Nov. 7 at 9:00 AM in the Dance Studio. Dancers with training and in 8th to 12th grade! Come prepared to take class/learn choreography as your audition. You must also present a 1 -2 minute solo.

Don't hesitate!! Bring your "A" game! Be a part of an exciting CPS Dance Program! AND IT'S FREE! All you need do is show up with your dance talent!

This years students have been doing a wonderful job. They have been learning ballet, jazz and modern technique. What is to come? Latin, modern, spiritual, cont. ballet and much more. The students are gaining a lot of knowledge that is free of charge. This years teacher's are Ms. Smith, Ms. Swayze and Mr. Lockett.

Over the past two weeks the student have been learning Latin style dance. The guest artist was Rebecca Aleman who is a piller in the dance community. The students at first were overwhelmed with the movement but by the end of the two week period the students looked and felt wonderful. There will be more guest artists to come!
